Fish Farm Feeder (FFF) offers a wide range of feeding system models for finfish and shrimp farming. However, the different components of each product are tailored to customer needs, so almost every feeder offered by FFF is customized according to:
- the life stage of the fish being fed (hatchery, pre-grow, grow-out),
- the number of tanks to be fed,
- the number and size of silos, and
- space availability.
Customizable automated feeder elements
Below, we break down the elements of an automated FFF feeder. These are components that are considered in the design of a centralized feeding system:
1. SELECTOR

2. SILOS

Silos vary in number and capacity, depending on storage needs.
3. DOSER

The dosing unit consists of an intermediate hopper with a rotary valve and auger screws for each silo with volumetric dosing.

Pneumatic system is composed of a compressor or blower with a cooler.

Customization of silos for centralized feeders used in aquaculture
Unlike other elements of a feeder manufactured by FFF, silos can be supplied or customized at the site of the aquaculture feeding system installation.
What options does an aquaculture farm have if it purchases a feeder made by FFF in the case of silos?
Entire Manufacturing
FFF is responsible for the complete manufacturing of the silos.
This option is viable if the silo capacity is up to approximately 3 m3. The finish can be stainless steel or galvanized.
Partial Manufacturing
FFF manufactures the lower cone of the silos, allowing the client to manufacture the walls.
FFF will provide the client with plans for manufacturing the rest of silo in a local workshop. The advantage of this option is cost and transportation savings.
Manufacturing by Customer
The silos are supplied by the aquaculture farm.
Fish Farm Feeder delivers the feeder to the customer with its intermediate hopper and rotary.
